Richard sends us his annual tease picture from Florida. He does NOT look happy about the flying conditions . . . Darn wind!!

"Heavy winds but I had 3 flights. Sunny 72 deg. And blue skys , we are heading for the ocean now to watch the sunset. Richard"

You do have it rough Richard!!

2012 at RCCD is off to a good start with about 20 members enjoying great food and an inaccurate weather forecast. The expected 20 mph + winds did not arrive until after noon. Click on the picture to see more of the New Year at the field. In the window that opens, select the album to view - there is only one now - then click the "play" arrow.

Some one-liners expressed after Henry tried to fly his Raptor through a tree, his wing snagging a souvenir in the process:
"Hey Henry: You branching out in your flying?!"
"Hey Henry: Did you twig what happened?!"
"I guess Henry was just jealous that he did not participate in the stick project!!"

We won't see Henry for a while. He is (probably) being deployed to the Mid East soon. Henry, RCCD thanks you for your service and wishes you a safe deployment.
